Gambarimasu! สู้ตายครับ/ค่ะ!
Before my Japanese final exam last time, I asked my sensei what is "Good luck!" in Japanese.
She understood my intention. She said, "In Japan, we don't say 'goodluck', we say "try your best.""
With that, I got to know the word "Gambarismasu!" This is a verb, actually. You may say it aloud to announce your intention to try your best. Or, you may say to someone else to try their best by saying, "gambatte kudasai!".
I'll need to say this throughout this weekend! As a matter of fact, may be throughout my whole life!
How about you?
