こんにちは！ナシャラともうします。　どうぞよろしく。 My first fascination with Japan dated back to my junior-high years when I picked up the novel, Shogun. Several visits afterwards, I was hopelessly in love. Now, in addition to the readings on Zen, samurai and Japanese society as part of my study, I also start Japanese class and Japanese martial arts. I'm still a novice in all, but I'll do my best! Gambarimasu! いくら難しくても、最後まで頑張ります。

Zen Temple's Stone garden

I always feel that time stands still every time I look at a photo of a Zen temple like this. Look at how the sakura blossom adds the subtle color to the stone garden and how the sand ripples to imitate the sea.

But it's not just any ordinary sea, for it signifies the sea of life...or Buddhism's Samsara....
