こんにちは！ ナシャラともうします。　どうぞよろしく。 My first fascination with Japan dated back to my junior-high years when I picked up the novel, Shogun. Several visits afterwards, I was hopelessly in love. Now, in addition to the readings on Zen, samurai and Japanese society as part of my study, I also start Japanese class and Japanese martial arts. I'm still a novice in all, but I'll do my best! Gambarimasu! いくら難しくても、最後まで頑張ります。

Me trying out the "Uma" sword, or sword used by ancient samurai for horseback fighting.

The sword's perimeter is awesome and the draw is surprisingly smooth. The ancient battlefield must be quite a dreadful sight to behold!

Ah...how can one live amidst all these sufferings from war and natural disasters if one does not know the art of mindfulness meditation!

I thank Lord Buddha everyday for that!
