Asian Hearts....
I saw this photo in Yahoo News Photo and it sorts of warmed my heart up.
It's a photo from a charity concert held by Hong Kong stars and the public to raise fund for tsunami victims in Asia. In the sign there you'll see the word "Love" in many Asian languages, including Thai. And I can't describe my feelings enough than my heartfelt gratitude for all those people who care to help.
The Asian Hearts are truly big and I still remember the first few days when it happened, Japan emerged as the biggest donors by the widest margin ever of financial aid. It took the rest of the world days or weeks before they can get a true grasp of the real impact and ditched out more.
Thank you, Japan. Thank you, Hong Kong. Thank you, World. As a Thai, it feels really good to have caring friends like you. The world is such a nice place indeed, and nowhere nicer than among us Asian neighbors.
