Japan 日本 ญี่ปุ่น

こんにちは！ ナシャラともうします。　どうぞよろしく。 My first fascination with Japan dated back to my junior-high years when I picked up the novel, Shogun. Several visits afterwards, I was hopelessly in love. Now, in addition to the readings on Zen, samurai and Japanese society as part of my study, I also start Japanese class and Japanese martial arts. I'm still a novice in all, but I'll do my best! Gambarimasu! いくら難しくても、最後まで頑張ります。

筆と筆巻き

Seeing this photo on Flickr tonight reminds me that I haven't practiced calligraphy for a long time. May be I should bring out my ink well, ink stick and brush tonight to practice some strokes.

Who knows it might help improve my sword's moves tomorrow?

Ah...the brush and the sword. One can not live without the other.
